面接に入るまでのシミレーション
実際の面接が行われる前に、試験官とこんなやりとりがあります。
ただの雑談も含みます。
英語が出来ない人は、イメージトレーニングをしておくのも大切です。
試験官がやってきました。
待合室で待機している、私の名前を呼んでいます。
ニコっとして、荷物を持って、忘れ物がないか確認して
さあ、試験官のところに向かいましょう。
最初の場面
さあ、いよいよご対面です。

（試験官）Hi, I'm Officer ○○、I'll be conducting your interview today. How are you doing today?
（私）I'm fine thank you
（試験官）Great. Follow me.
（私）OK.
（試験官）How did you get here today?
（私）by Uber
（私）Not far from here, It's about 14 min.
部屋に入ってから
（試験官）Please come inside. Feel free to put your belongings up to your chair but please remain standing.
（私）sure.（荷物を置いて、立ったままでいる）
（試験官）Before we begin the interview I'll need to place you under oath. Please raise your right hand..
（私）右手を上げる。
(試験官） “Do you swear or affirm that the statements you will give today will be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth?”
（私）Yes, I do.
（試験官）Please take a seat.
（私）thank you.
予測できる攻撃
さあ、ここからです。
私たちをちょっと試すような質問をしてくる場合があります。例えばこんなやつ。
１）今、何をしているのか状況を理解できているか
Q: Do you understand what an “oath” means?
What did you just promise?
A: it is a promise to tell the truth

２）これから何をするのか理解できているか
Q:Do you understand why you are here today?
A:Yes, I am here for my citizenship interview.
３）なぜ市民権を取りたいのか。
Q:Why do you want to become an American citizen？
A: My families here, I love America. 笑。
さあ、いよいよ市民権テストの本番です。
出だしでこのように攻撃・・聞いてくる試験官は、わりと手厳しくやるタイプだということが分かります。
気を確かに持ち、かかってこんかいと、目を開き、乗り切りましょう。
では、いよいよ面接に入ります。
